Welcome to the most random dinner EVER…

While I was sick this past week, the worst possible thing happened…I lost my appetite and NOTHING tasted good too me at all. *GASP* I KNOW! :( I couldn’t even get though my coffee in the morning without being disgusted which had me in quite the fog BUT in turn, weaned me off that 2nd cup that I used to just HAVE to have. Anyway, once my taste buds were functioning properly, I of course went straight for Brussels sprouts—you know, the most pleasant smelling and tasting vegetable around! :) Well at least after 20 minutes at 400 degrees in the oven and lots of garlic and other spices!

And what better to pair with Brussels sprouts than an…egg? I’m telling you….heaven on a plate right here-

Seriously! After this picture was taken there was a lot of dipping…mixing…just a big deeeeelicious mess!

And I’ve been eating salads like a fiend so naturally I put one together to go on the side with-Onions-Tomato-Mushrooms-Cucumber

I haven’t posted about my workouts in QUITE a while and after my last vacation I’ve been working on getting my strength back again. Here’s my last Chest/Back workout-

Incline Chest Press  DB Chest Press Low Row Lat Pulldown
10 @ 20# 10 @ 20# 4×12 @ 65# 4×12 @ 50#
10 @ 25# 10 @ 25#
6 @ 30# 10 @ 25#

Seated High Row Pec Deck Flies Tricep Pushdowns w/Rope Extention
4×15 @ 70# 2×10 @ 30# 10 @ 35#
  10 @ 40# 10 @ 40#
    8 @ 45#
    10 @ 35#

After weights I’ve been doing either speed intervals or a steady pace on the Stairs anywhere from 15-30 minutes depending on how I feel. I like the stairs sometimes because I can bring my book with me and get lost in it-takes my mind off all the climbing!

It’s a great day here in San Diego. Not only did I get to start my morning off with a big glob of THIS in my oatmeal this morning

But it’s also a GORGEOUS day here and officially feels like summer! I’m soaking it all in but of course a part of me still wants to be here-

Have a great day!
