CHICKPEAS (Garbanzo Beans)
It was a tough decision—all the past ingredients have been such great picks! I wanted to choose something easily attainable as well as enjoyable and I’ve definitely noticed a Chickpea or two floating around the blog world. They’re a wonderful source of protein and fiber and can definitely be used in a variety of ways. I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with–bring on the recipes!

that’s my favorite legume! can’t wait to see great recipes of it!
The only way I like chickpeas are in salads, and hummus!! I would love to see some more, and better ideas that I actually enjoy!
Oh my I want to participate in this, but I’ve never cooked chickpeas ever! I wonder if they’ll go with chocolate…?

I agree with Biz…please try not to use the random integer, because that just defeats the purpose of this game…may the best cook win, and not the best number!
